The production process of rice flakes and
oat flakes is similar. The pretreatment process of rice flakes can be divided
into dry milling and wet milling, while the pre-drying process of oat flakes is
generally dry milling or using pre-milled raw materials for slurry preparation.
Dry process workflow:
Raw material transportation to the cleaning
station (rice and wheat) → Cleaning (washing, soaking, and air-drying raw
materials) → Grinding or milling (producing rice or wheat flour) → Slurry
formation (mixing raw material flour with water or warm water to form a slurry) →
Slurry refinement (using a colloid mill to refine the slurry) → Slurry
transportation (conveying refined slurry to the drying station) → Roller/drum
dryer baking (baking the slurry into a pancake-like cooked product) → Primary
crushing (breaking the pancake-like cooked product into large pieces) →
Semi-finished product transportation (conveying semi-finished products to the
shaping station) → Shaping thin flakes (forming semi-finished products into the
desired flake size) → Finished product transportation (conveying finished
products to the packaging station) → Bagging and packaging (packing finished
products into preset weights and bags).
